چکیده

Generations of migrants from Asia since the 1800s have endured challenges in locating their place and belonging Australia due to systemic racism discrimination against cultural religious ‘other’. These persistent issues intensified during pandemic, especially towards Chinese communities, including international students. This paper investigates impact pandemic on Chinese, Indian Russian students Australia. It reveals how, throughout first year student, ethnic community organizations implemented multiple overlapping coping strategies assist Australia, who had been left vulnerable by a lack government support escalating geopolitical tensions Asia-Pacific region. By highlighting dimensions these connectedness belonging, it contributes new insights an under-explored aspect studies pointing way for further investigation.
